340 build question

If you use it just make sure you have proper cam end play clearance. Something like .006-.010. if I remember correctly. When I bought my 340 Ragtop at 100K I was told the Top end was rebuilt. I Put 100k more on it. When I took it apart to rebuild I found No Cam washer just a 3/8" flat washer. The cam had crazy end play . I somehow had no issues. Now it has one.
