Tested the ignition switch from my Barracuda. It had measurable resistance in the Ignition 1 and Accessory connections. Ignition 1 real bad if the key was fiddled with the resistance changed. :eek:
I'm not surprised.
Putting the cylinder in a replacement switch got almost no measurable resistance, but the key was difficult to turn.
Took the cylinder apart . Looks like a new key would help as the ways are worn. But the pins are also worn, maybe the tumbler too. Might be time to spin the roulette wheel and buy an aftermarket ignition and door cylinder set.
