I have decided to offer my 69 notchback for sale. 65 thousand original miles, adult driven.
Its 340s auto. Column shift bench seat. A4 with white vinyl top. White seats, green headliner carpet and dash. 727 with a open 3.23 489
It sat in a carport and got quite a bit of sun, so vinyl roof is toast. Seats need recovering, needs carpet and headliner and dash pad.
Mechanically it's very sound.
Its vin, engine number and trans numbers match. I have the broadcast sheet.
The headliner caused some rust in the usual spots. Dont think it's real serious.
Asking $15,000 US money.
I have 5 c bodies. Just got a 440 4 speed 66 sport fury. Decided the barracuda dont fit in. I dont need to sell it.
It's in a shipping container for safe storage.

Kevin

Sorry, the vinyl roof caused some rust not the headliner.
It passed a manitoba saftey about a year ago.

Here is some pictures.
I got car Christmas time 2019. It was last registered in 2011
Owners before me got it in aprox 1999 from the husband's father who got it in 1970
. I put maybe 150 miles on it last summer. Was impressed how it drove.
Engine block and oil pan are turquoise, a lot of the red has flaked off the water pump, I see bit of turquoise on a corner of one head. I never scratched looking for more. So somebody painted the top of engine red. I have no idea why.
Vin BP23P9B if anyone wants to investigate that.
It was resprayed original color in late 90s. They had textured undercoating applied along bottom sides. It if pulling away in spots. I find slight bondo behind left rear tire.
I dont have a lift so I don't have pictures of the underneath but its dam nice. I am missing the trim that goes under the back window.
The owners wife in 1970 requested a cassette player. They removed the radio and installed am FM tape and ran it thru the original front speaker. The rear window defogger is in place unharmed. They did enlarge the plastic dash cutout.
I am probably forgetting quite a bit so ask any question. I seem to be only able to upload 1 picture at a time so near with me

Obviously, the paint code is A4? Would like to see the fender tag. Thank you.

I'm not promoting this car as a perfect unit. Its 50 yrs old. For a 50 yr old car it is kinda suprising It never got engine hot rod mods. Original wheel covers and mud flaps puts things into perspective

Like I said I'm a c body guy. I am not a flipper. Ran across this car and was blown away that it hasn't been hot rodded. I remember these things when they were new. They could show a 440 or 426 a thing or 2 under 80 mph.
If it stays here I will clean up the roof, have new vinyl roof installed. Recover the seats, new carpet and headliner and dash pad. And wax the paint that's on it and drive it once in a while. Also I would get the engine back to proper color.
I havnt advertised it locally. It needs to go to a A body guy, I wouldn't sell it to a dumb ***

Sorry, car is located at Wawanesa manitoba. Price is indicated on original post

34 miles north of international border

The mymopar site says 386 340 automatic notchbacks were built. When interior color, bench seat and column shift is considered the 386 shrinks more
