I have both clutch rods, and I need a bit of info. 1969 Dart 340.

First is the long one from the pedal to the torsion bar/equalizer bar/z bar. Which end goes to the pedal?

Second, the short one. it has a bend in it up near the eye/loop/hole. Is it supposed to be that way?

Here is a picture of the rod attached to the pedal linkage on my 69 Dart

That complicates things. I had wanted to put heim joints on the torsion bar end... I dont like the metal-on-metal and the slop approach to linkage. However, if the straight end goes inside, then I have to do something else with the other end.

How about these flat spots on the Torsten bar where the rods hit? Is this normal or should be repaired or ???
