Understanding the slant six

There's nothing such as "the" perfect Slant-6. Every build is different, depending on intended purpose and usage in what kind of vehicle, personal preferences, budget, etc. I'm a real big fan of sharing knowledge. I'm not a fan of passing off baseless opinions and misunderstood principles as fact. Add that to the evidence, right there in the video for all to see, that the dude has made some pretty basic errors, and…well, I'm not a fan. I don't say he's got no valid points, but a lot of people with a long track record of knowing WTF they're doing (Dutra, for one example of many) have had consistent, measurable, excellent success with some of the techniques the guy in the video says are dumb ideas that don't ever, can't ever, won't ever work.

Nobody's going to arrest you for having that tendency. And nobody's required to agree with me, including you. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What I really like about Dutra is, he's broken stuff. A LOT of stuff trying different things most "normal" people might not. That's real innovation. It's how you learn what works and what doesn't.
