68' Valiant 4 door

a few months ago i bought a new fuel filler from Classic Industries that they list fitting 67'-69 Darts and Valiants that comes with a new vent tube.
i also wanted to install a rollover valve in the fuel vent, as i'd like to do some track days at some point, so i picked one up from Tanks Inc.
after some mocking up i decided to just splice the valve into the vent line
first issue, the vent line from classic is probably just for a dart. after cussing at myself for not taking a picture of how the old one fit before i took it out, i decided to go find it to compare the two.
well no wonder...here's the loop portion that goes at the top of the 1/4 panel.
no freakin' wonder it wouldn't line up. so i cut up the stock one and did some test fitting
