Ultradyne SFT cam

My mate ran a 440 Dart with the MP.590 sft [email protected] with 12.7:1CR with 320cfm MCH Eddy's...that cam was done at around 6700 in the traps. A little thinking outside the box can work wonders, I offered him that .650 cam that was still around for no money, shame he didn't take me up on it he would've gone in the 9's with it from 10.1's. Another Mopar racer standing by the car reckoned he'd go slower with it, and when I asked why he thought that, there was no answer, typical attitude of racers over here, and this was the same guy thats running it today going 8.90's!!......they think they know there **** but know jack, I'm not a guru by any means but its not rocket science to figure things out.
No guru here either, just a hobbiest. My thought was more low end grunt was needed as the first 330 of the track has always been said to be the most important. I just might give than cam a try.
