Oh man, how embarrasing. (Uncle Tony/Nick's Garage)

SMH, I have done low buck rebuilds myself, however I have always run engine cleaning brushes through everything, and rinsed and scrubbed and blew it all out with compressed air to make sure everything is as clean as it can be. How was it there was that much **** packed in a new oil filter after running it for less than 10 minutes?? I will tell you why. They disturbed all the crust inside the damn thing when they tore it down and never removed it all.

This should be a public service announcement to everybody putting an engine together. Buy a good set of engine cleaning brushes, and douche out every orifice in the block, crank, and passages going into the heads. Clean and remove ALL the crust everywhere inside and out to make it so clean you can eat off it. Even if a machine shop does the work, thoroughly clean that ***** again.

I dont feel for him, quite the opposite. He posted this on youtube and some bucks down young person is gonna take it as gospel and try to duplicate the effort. It failed from excessive dirt and trash left in it. Not only did it fail, it failed on a youtube channel many people watch. This was an inadvertent PSA on how NOT to do this type of job.
