Stop in for a cup of coffee

So solenoid that gets some sort of switched power is a dead short. Tracing it through firewall with my power probe circuit tracer, i see its pinched between heater housing and cowl. Looks like it has a couple places pinched/shorted.
Owner asks when he bought it, power top works? Yup,NOPE!
I managed to get it open, and folded into trunk, but it has several deficiencies in order to operate. Lots of wiring to sort out.
