Except that when he pulled that one main bearing, it looked perfect. I would have pulled more, and some rod bearings too. I also would have put a micrometer on the journals and made sure they matched the bearing shells. I wonder what the cam bearings look like. If they were shot, it would also have low oil pressure when hot, and it would also help explain some of the short push rod problem they claim it has.

I already said that they should have pulled all of the mains--I have been stung by looking at one main and declaring the engine good when it really wasn't. Mark my words that engine was completely screwed by the dirt alone. The goddamn filter had more **** it in than my porting bench.

Oh and if they re test with a claim of only correcting lifters and pushrods , and the oil pressure is fixed---I call bullshit. They aren't showing us everything--How else would it cost $7k? J.Rob
