Hey all,

I'm testing my options here - I know i could either re-core my stock radiator or get a new one.. re-coring is considerably more than just buying a new aluminum one but I really want to keep the stock look. I found a good option with US Radiator here, but I was curious if anyone else has had luck elsewhere. Just trying to find more options. Thanks!

I'd recore what you have. I put 3 row cores in and never worry about cooling problems again.

i'd like to. I was thinking of doing so and just eating the cost considering new ones are almost as much (if you dont get an ebay aluminum one) and then you have those stock tanks.. hm.

Most times new is not better. You know how everything will hook up and there won't be any flow problems when someone compromises a hose fitting or something else. What engine?

Bob at Glen Ray does the mopars.
And cost is in the same ballpark as those 'US radiators' even when adding in the shipping. In fact he built a custom 68-70 combo radiator for me for the prices listed on that website. You're starting with an original - it shouldn't cost more, probably less than mine.

Take a look at Cold-case, a vendor here.
Their radiators are aluminum but they stamp their upper tanks to look stock. Painted black, they claim it's hard to tell from stock.

This does look pretty good - the best looking aluminum one I've seen so far, personally

I bought a cold case recently, very nicely made, looks high quality, however I don’t think it looks stock. I am not complaining, because I didn’t care about a stock look. I was more expensive than some of the eBay cheapies, but I think you get what you pay for.

If you want to buy American product Griffin offers what the call a Direct fit radiator paint it black and you would never know.
I use one and it cools better than any radiator I have used in the past 40 years.

thats a good looking setup you have there. I'll have to contact them directly, 1965 doesnt show for me and the site seems a bit buggy. but that radiator is the look i'd be going for!
