Stop in for a cup of coffee

So @dukeboy_318 have you ever driven a poly out on the highway??

The reason I'm asking is because I'm looking for real world reviews on a poly.

I'm still on the fence on what to do with this one. I got it started and it needs a carburetor, because it just diarrhea ***** fuel everywhere.

Sounds strong but ...... to be debated.

IMO poly might be a better engine then the LA 318. Solid lifters, better valve geometry....I have never seen one hot rodded....

My debate is junk the poly and install a 66 dated 440 that I have under my work bench. Or keep the poly.

When I bought the car I didn't even think it had an engine, didn't care, wanted the body.

Then i get it cleaned up and i find a running poly that was rebuilt in 1996 and has the complete a/c on it. This car is mega original and complete.

Now I got the poly running again ...... but
Not sure

My dad used to say that the poly 318 was good for performance and economy in its day... Go for it...
