Tattoos

Ok, so I was not raised around anyone with tattoos and ive never had the desire for one when I was younger.

I always thought it might be skanky and not look right.

Awhile back my friend got a tattoo with her kid's names and she asked me if I would ever get a tattoo. At first I said "absolutely not"!!! Then she asked me "isn't there anything you are really passionate about"

Then I started thinking about it and a few things came to mind.

Do you guys think tattoos are nice additions, or would you say it is a horrible, skanky idea??
I love the artistry that comes with the truly talented. Being a former art major and having made money doing such things, I can appreciate the talent and hard work that goes into perfecting the skill to a level where others desire “Your” work for themselves.

As far as I go, I have none. Thought about it. Never jumped on it. When I was talking about a the possibility of getting one, an old friend jumped in and gave me a quick couple of tips. Never below the line of a short sleeve T shirt, never vulgar. A tattoo of allegiance can lead to ridicule because other people (less worthy and zero class) often can not keep there mouth shut and must spread there opinion around or ridicule for there own entertainment. Embarrassing you is there sport.

As for yourself, do realize that as soon as a tattoo is seen by a stranger, (and sometimes family) you are Immediately judged, for better or worse.

Tattoos on women are fine. A lot depends on what & where it is. I’d rather not see them as they do nothing for me on any level. But once seen, it does raise the question(s) about the art work.

I have seen some super good work on the ladies. Roses, a simple few to a single, Coy fish left uncolored, (explained to me as so it would never clash with the wardrobe. Smart!)

As mentioned above, the young lady on TV show, AGG, has IMO, way to many tattoos that are haphazardly placed like a 10,000 piece puzzle box spilled on the floor. To me, it looks ridiculous and stupid as well as trashy. There is nothing attractive about it. Actually, it works in reverse for me. I find it repelling.

How some of these women claim there sexy I don’t know. I don’t find it sexy at all. Not one bit. I’m sure someone does. Just not I.
