I need to replace the rad in my '66 Barracuda with the 273 engine. I saw two cars that MIGHT have the rad that I need, but I need to be sure. one car is a '65 Canadian Valiant with a 225, and the other is a 70's Aspen with probably a 360. I could take a 15 minute drive out to the wrecker's with the old one and match it up, or maybe send them a pic of what I have, but I thought I would ask here if mine would match up with either car before I do that. Thanks.

Your 66 w/273 should have a 22 in radiator with the lower hose on the driver’s side; the one with the slant should have a 19 in with the upper and lower hose connections in the wrong locations. The Aspen could have a 22 in radiator but more likely a 26 in and likely to have the lower hose connection on the passenger side. You could use the Aspen by drilling new mounting Holes in the core support, relocating the lower hose connection or swapping 70-up water pumps as a start. Why not get yours recored?

I could get mine re-cored, but it would cost me $500 No way I'll pay that much.

Too bad you’re in Canada; I’ve got a recored 3 row radiator for a 65/66 early A V8
