When I was working at the Dodge dealer, the factory rep came in and told the GM he would cut him a sweet deal on 94 Dodge Neon's.
He handed the GM the build page, as he told the GM the price $6K a copy and he had twenty to unload.
These were end model runs and we already into the 95 model year.
Jim jumped at those, took all 20. Never bothered to really look at the build sheets.
The Neon's show up and all 20 were white w/black front and rear bumpers, steel wheels w/ dog dishs, am/fm cassette, rubber floor mats, 5spd trans and no A/C.
We found out later from the parts/svc mopar rep that these were supposed to be government fleet cars, but were accidentally ordered as 5 speeds instead of autos.
We had those damn things on the lot for two years. You couldn't add A/C so we could only move them during the cold months.
The last three were sold at a loss to get rid of them after they gave one away to a church for a raffle.
