I like um straight cut. Should be four on each side for a V8.

I don't get it? why would it smoke and only out of 3 on one side?
look at the pictures in the first post, and consider the path of least resistance
unless you add baffles, there is no reason for the smoke to pass through any pipe but the main one

I get that. I guess I didn't realize his car is burning oil or puking straight fuel out of the pipes

Well ain't that COOL!!! I think that now that they are all welded up, I make I diagonal cut across all the pipes so they would have oval openings that line up. If you could make the cut so it was parallel to the body line it would be perfect!

That's what I'm thinking

Just my opinion, a little rake is desirable. When you jack it up too high you transfer too much weight to the front and induce understeer, the rear becomes too light and has a tendency to swing around on you. Transfer that weight back and the car is easier, safer and much more enjoyable to drive.

I think the stance is just about perfect

if he had one pipe per side, I would prefer the slant cut (in fact, that what i have on mine)

but with multiple pipes, leave them cut square

Looks good, personally I would have made the primary one the middle and angle off both side, but nicely done.
