I disagree. The guys running a spool on the street, aren't driving/ treating their car like a street car.
fixed many a broken axles in the day when they were. lol
For street/strip car reliability stick with a sure grip or something similar.
driven spools on the street for 20 years now. Never a problem
Worst thing i have ever had was a locker. Had one on 9 sec street strip smallblock.
Back out of the gas at high speed on the street and it was downright creepy.
Spool much more predictable. Much more.
Sure grip... fun while it lasts
