That vertigo is nasty stuff. I had a few bouts of that after my surgery. There is a exercise to help correct those crystals if I remember correctly. Hope you can get things fixed.

I get what I would say is mild vertigo. Usually if working under the car or just getting up and down from the floor too quick working on stuff. That feeling of falling is a whole other level of sucks. I'd be afraid of actually falling when that hits...
