I get what I would say is mild vertigo. Usually if working under the car or just getting up and down from the floor too quick working on stuff. That feeling of falling is a whole other level of sucks. I'd be afraid of actually falling when that hits...
Thanks...it hasn’t been much fun. Lying down in bed and suddenly feeling like you have been thrown head first over the edge into the abyss makes for a stressful evening...and little sleep.
Last night I got up to use the bathroom and had to grab the wall when it hit and focus my thoughts on to the fact that I had the wall in my hand and I wasn’t actually falling...despite what my perception was telling me. It took about 20 seconds to get it under control and I could go do what I needed to. Then back in bed, I felt exhausted...and it hit again. Gripped the sheets hard and hung on telling myself it wasn’t real until it passed.
