Hey guys. Laying out my lift. 2 post. Does it REALLY need 3 feet between the post and the wall? AND 13 feet to back wall? Seems excessive to me........the posts are 132 inches apart! To the outside flange........That leaves A LOT of room in the center, cannot think doors will extend 3 feet outside the posts......

thats a
big hoist. Go with the manual. My 4 post is near the same width to outside of flanges.
Cars usually line up door hinge to edge of post. 13 feet gives you room for walk around with a crew cab truck. Three feet to the side, can lose some, but walking through will get difficult. At 2 feet cant have anything hanging on wall.
