We pool all our tips. Keeps everyone working together and no one can claim someone else is getting preferential seating. If someone is lucky and gets a humongous tip, it goes to all of us. Saves a lot of hurt feelings, back-stabbing, cut-throat behavior, etc.
When a server fills in as a busboy, we are in the servers tip pool.
