Stop in for a cup of coffee

The 300 C started chirping it’s Horn every few minutes this morning so I went out to start it and the battery was low and it wouldn’t crank. Either it was an odd side effect or the car has the ability to call attention to low voltage.

I just haven’t been driving it enough to keep the system full charged. Put it on the slow charger for and hour and it started. Let it run for 40 minutes and checked the voltage. 12.71 volts. Let it sit 2 hours and checked again, 12.67 volts.

I’m going to put the slow charge back on it for a little bit just to make sure it’s fully charged....then I need to drive it more. I’ve only run 1/3 of a tank of fuel through it since the beginning of March.
I don’t know if it’s an intentional thing or not. I know that even way back when I was in business we had more than one Chrysler car do some crazy things when battery voltage dropped. Wipers turning on by themselves, horns going off and on erratically, lights flickering while parked not running.
