440 intake gasket

What gasket would you recommend for a 440 with edelbrock alluminum rpm heads with a original 1967 cast iron intake,working on this for as friend,any help appreciated
 
I wouldn't install a cast intake on aluminum heads. They do not expand the same when hot. Aluminum grows more then cast. I know someone who tried that with a small block and had a sealing problem.
 
I would recommend an aluminum Edelbrock RPM intake manifold if you don't want it to leak. As stated above, cast iron and aluminum have very different thermal expansion coefficients. 65'

Yep,that's what I think to,talked him out of the iron one today,thanks for the info
 
Does this mean that aluminum manifolds won't work on iron heads?
