Don white is actually from about 20 miles away from me. A guy I know has some of his old pit gas tanks and a few other things. He also has a Hemi charger that was raced by Ernie derr another local racer. The car is the exact way it was the last time it was raced. Very cool to see.

I was announcing in the crowd at Capital Super Speedway in Oregon, WI during the intremission during our ASA show in 1984.

Someone told me Don White was in the crowd and pointed to a certain area. I found Mr. White and asked him if I could do a short interview on the PA system. he told me noone there would remember him. When I announced his name the whole crowd gave him a standing ovation!

He was humbled by the whole deal... a very nice guy.

Here's the Imperial at Rockford!

White and Doerr were good friends down there in Keokuk. Must be the water.
