Stop in for a cup of coffee

Radar I just looked at predicts you will get wet. No idea how much. Heaviest part will be between us. Not supposed to be anything over here.
No such luck...sidewalk sprinkles like usual.

*sigh*. Back to watering...

Anyone know the exact length of a904 torque converter bolts or where to buy some? I know they are 5/16 24 tpi but even the short ones I found are too long.

The converter to flex plate bolts have larger than "normal" heads for that particular thread... Mancini sells replacements... Get the mopar bolts, the mancini brand are 12 point vs 6 point for stock...

Mopar Performance 5/16 Torque Converter Bolts

Make sure to torque them to spec properly so they don't loosen after time and let the flex plate rattle...

I got 3/4 of the neighbor's lawn mowed and the mower cut out...

It would try to start, kick over, then die... I think I have a clogged filter problem, either air or fuel....

Beer filter empty, maybe?

I got the tank off and rinsed it out with water... New air filter, but had to clean the pre filter as nobody stocks it around here... New fuel filter and hoses...

Tank and fuel line ready to go back on, but the sun is down so it will wait till tomorrow or Sunday... I have plans to go to the beach tomorrow, so I may let it sit till Sunday... Or put it together tomorrow morning before the beach... :steering:

Decisions, decisions... I may have to consult the local procrastinators club on this one...

Oh yeah, I also bought a new E3 spark plug for it.... :D

Try to fire it up before you go to the beach. If it runs good you will relax more on the outing.

If it doesn’t, then you aren’t any worse off than you are now.

Wondering is a mind killer.

I was thinking about going out to try it now, but too dark...

I think I'll try in the morning... I don't have to finish her lawn tomorrow, Sunday will be fine with her... As long as I can get it started and drive it into my back yard...

I'm anxious to see if it will run... :steering:

If it won't run, I have my secret weapon coming Sun or Mon....

My youngest son fixes this stuff on the side to make some spare cash...

Well back to work on the house tomorrow.
Got to have fun with my son Ian today working on his Coronet. Although at times I guess its more about the time than it is about the progress.

Man was hot as heck here yesterday. Was setting up for the gathering here today. Daughter and SIL had a hair up there *** and cut up some trees that were in the pond to get a better view/room. Thank Me I have a tractor. Nasty to do knee deep in the water and the muc it is lined with is super slick. And of course she is wrapping a chain around one and there is a freaking water moccasin under it. Yes that is what it was. Well #6 shot works great on them!

We're heading out to the local lake for a car show today. Kids are all out today, so we'll come home and cook something up on the grill for supper.

Thiwhk we have a bit to much food for today. Burgers, dogs, Kailua pig (small made from a pork but) Chili, sausage, salads and whatever else is brought. Have some kids think 6-12 coming so should be fun watching them in the pond and of course will have the three dogateers here also.

I have to set up a target some where also. Parents want to teach the kids to shoot 22's.

Thanks Hoppy. I will consider that. My Nephew has a thing going on too but I suspect it will be too wild.

I can just picture it,or what neighbours are hearing. chainsaw, tractor running, screaming women then a gunshot. Silence.

happy 4’th, Ray!

LOL believe it or not that is normal in this area. Daughter saw a bobcat the other day in the back yard, pulls her pink 380 and starts shooting at it to scare it off. Pretty funny.
