No I didn't do a thread and I agree the instructions are very vague. I did have to call the tech line on a couple of occasions. I think the switch modification was one of them. Another FABO member rewrote the installation instructions and sent them to me which did help.
I'll see if I have them with me but I think they are on my home computer but I'm on vacation now for 3 weeks.
