68 Barracuda 225 to 440 to 426

I must have missed that comment. I have never experienced a loose fit. .Is it loose in just the tie rod end? Just trying to isolated the issue. Tie rod thread or adapter thread.
If it is thread pitch, you might try running a dye over the tie rods.
