Nice read. I think I shift about 4800 now with the small cam (no tach). Will probably shift about 5500-5600 rpms with the next cam, but the engine will decide.
You really need a cheap tachometer and know what's going on in there LOL...
If you put some good Springs in there and a solid lifter cam you won't want to let it run till it floats....
