Hey guys well after the transmission debacle plus the shift cable I fixed that. Here is a video of it idling warmed up after I went for a drive, so far put about 250 miles on the build about to do first oil change (even though I had to do a oil change of break in oil due to being paranoid) lol
So as many ofsof you may know this is first build, today I had after driving for about 1 hour and it was pretty hot out my oil pressure pressure after driving around in about like 96° and it was about 12-15 idlling on the hot side (it did feel hotter than that). Is that normal pressure with high volume pump 30w break in and clearances were .0025. just curious and probably being paranoid but tomorow I plan to make the first oil change to 10w40. I am also using a short sweep electrical Guage so maybe I need to get some more precise mechanical wide sweep? I understand I might be overthinking this as well. Oh yeah and for the ones that are curious how the cam came out for my build, with a 3000k stall 9 1/2 , this thing rips lol it's very quick off the line. Impressed my little girl when I was at the stoplight with the wife and kids in the family car and i attempted to launch and it didn't get traction for about 80 feet and I had to peddle it out since I was going into my wife's lane with the rear leading lol(I don't if that would be right term) but anyways the cars drives great gets a little hot in CA stop and go traffic but loves to run. Got about 10 initial timing in it. Have a mechanical fan and switching to dual electric. I will say the car is a blast to drive out of all the years I've owned it omg it's so much fun going out on old road just cruising with the occasional throttle moments lol. Thank for all the help guys and I appreciate as I am still learning and always will be. Got a buttload of parts sitting in the garage ready to go in just need time and still needs proper tuning lol (plan on doing qa1 strut rods,transmission cooler+ plus new deep pan alternator(upgraded due to electric fan update upcoming) and a bunch of stuff and parts I've been procrastinating to put on lol
