This is Scruff. Some of you may remember he was a rescue we got one night from our neighbors across the street. Some dogs had him cornered in their back yard. Come to find out, he was injured badly, but not from the dogs. He was only about 6 weeks old at the time. The best we and our vet could tell was someone threw Scruff out of a moving car. He had a very serious scrape from his nose all the way down his chin, throat and all the way down his stomach to his little wanker. He spent two days at the vet as they picked all of the asphalt out that was embedded in his skin. They really did not think Scruff would make it, but they didn't know all the love we can give a special needs cat. He came out with some chipped baby teeth, a split lower lip (you can see in this picture it's never grown in) and a temporary scar. Here is the thread from the night we got him.

But look at him today! He has made a tremendous recovery! Scruff is a really sweet boy too.
