Went to Carlyle it was HOT! But still had a great time got a couple things, and met a couple members I mentioned them in my earlier post but I needed more time for the last 3 people I met before I left the state of Pennsylvania.
Steve - "Oldmanmopar", his son, and Dave - "1969383valiant" Great bunch of guys. I went to Steves house to pick up a MINT 72' Dart/Demon grille which I got the deal of the century on.
I also got the shop tour and even got to look at some of his inventory which I consider a previlege due to the fact this is the first time we met. His son is very knowledgeable and had a very clean shop and well kept equipment.
Let me tell you in FABO land what this man does and has done for this hobby and some of you in this forum is nothing that should be taken lightly, Steve is a great guy as long as he's given the same respct ALL of YOU expect. I stood and talked with Steve,Dave, and Steve Jr. 3 people I never met before and have to say I felt like I had been there more than just this one time.
So maybe next time he comes up with a parts car and you need something from or off of it think about what it might cost or take to get a car with those parts on it and the labor/work it takes to get the item from the car and give these guys the respect they deserve so you can get a nice hard to find original part without lifting a screwdriver.
You can still hate or dislike me but Steve and his Crew are genuine guys. So the saying "Is put up or STFU" If you don't like what he does.

On my last note I bought the last MINT $100 72'Dart/Demon grille on the Planet!

Yeah I think a lot of people on here come down on him in the way wrong way. He's a good dude.

I've told Steve numerous times "he should write a book." Guys with his experience are few and far

Steve is a good guy.Has helped me out numberous times.Knowledge off the charts.

I love when there's an epic argument goin on about "somethin" like what fenders fit what, body brackets and what not and all he does is chunk pictures on here and just settles the whole thing. LOL When you've done this as long and as MUCH as he has, it's hard not to know a lot. I've probably done it about as long.....but I'm nowhere near as fortunate to have done SO MUCH. I wasn't "as smart" in my youth. LOL

Exactly! I am wowed by all the pieces he has. And so well organised.

I had a run in with OMM a while back, we worked it out & there are no hard feelings on my end. And yes, he is very knowledgeable about almost everything Mopar. His pictures & knowledge have ended many disagreements about fitment of parts on this site. I really admire him & his sons after seeing all of the parts & pieces they hauled to there place in many trips.

I spoke to OMM / Steve on the phone years back. Still have him in my contacts. His knowledge and advice was free and helpful. He learned me a couple or a few things, more than once. I wasn’t able to make a purchase, due to distance and borders, but the info I have learned from he and others here is priceless. It is members like OMM that make this the number one Mopar site, and keep this hobby alive and kicking.
