RustyRatRod's Guide To Hot Rod Bliss

Great thread, I have a 67 Barracuda that I bought as a teenager in 1990.
I had huge dreams for it, got super excited and tore the thing all apart!
Got overwhelmed and just parked it!
Stuck to my guns though and never sold it! I knew cars like this don't come along everyday!
Now that I am 46 and have much more experience I am going to put it all back together.
Before they were as rare I managed to get a 72 340 that is in pieces and a 489 rear end.
I am more excited than ever that cars that are not perfectly straight with great paint and perfect trim are kinda in style! I will worry about it a lot less like this!
Also to know that I can get just a fresh build on the motor and now worry about spending money on aftermarket parts is huge! I am not even going to worry about putting disc brakes on it now.
Just excited to have a Bitchin Barracuda and enjoying it just as it is!

thanks for all the great advice everyone!
