I purchased the car in January 2020, in Ohio. Asking $5,950. Will consider reasonable offers.
The car is a 1960 Valiant with a slant 6 engine 170 cu in with a 3 speed (Torqueflite) A-904 push button automatic transmission and factory POWER steering / brakes. 1960 was the first year for the Valiant.
The engine runs good, the transmission shifts good, the odometer states 94,000 miles. The car runs and drives very good after all the maintenance and repairs were made.
The interior seat material, rear deck, and headliner are solid, the dash has a small nick out of the vinyl the balance of the dash is good.
The radio is original, all chrome emblems are on the car. All hub caps are there. Tires still have good tread.

The following items have been done since I purchased the vehicle:
FUEL SYSTEM, removed fuel tank and repaired a large dent, scraped and wire brushed the tank, painted with rust reformer and flushed the tank. The tank had been cleaned by a prior owner and a sealer had been used. The tank is in good shape. I installed a new fuel level sender, a new fuel filler grommet, brazed and installed an extension on the fill line. New fuel pump, fuel line to the carb. and a rebuilt carb with fuel filter. I also scraped and wire brushed under the car where the tank was removed and sprayed 2 coats of rust reformer. That area is very good, without any damage.
FRONT WHEELS, new wheel bearings, new drums, new hub bolts, new wheel cylinders, new shoes and new hardware. Wire brushed, cleaned and painted wheels.
REAR WHEELS, I cleaned the brakes, I found that the prior owner replaced the wheel cylinder, drum, shoes and hardware on the drivers side and the wheel cylinder was rebuilt, the shoes were replaced and the drum was replaced on the passenger side.
TRANSMISSION, drained and refilled fluid several times to ensure all old fluid is replaced, cleaned filter inside transmission, new reusable pan gasket.
ENGINE, flushed oil and filter 2 times. Installed and modified an original style air filter housing and replaced the air filter. Replaced valve cover gasket. Wires and plugs were replaced by the prior owner.
WINDOWS, replaced 2 drivers side cracked windows. ALL windows are good.
SPEEDOMETER, removed cable, cleaned, lubricated and installed an O ring by the trans entrance.
SUSPENSION / STEERING, installed 4 new shock absorbers. Installed overleaf springs to give a steady ride. Adjusted steering gear box ¾ turn. Adjusted front torsion bars to proper height.
TRUNK, scrapped and wire brushed all interior caulking / undercoat type spray and repainted. The trunk is very solid.
FRAME, 2 rust spots on the rear frame across from each other--removed rust, scraped area, wire brushed, sprayed rust reformer inside and out and had a professional weld steel over both areas. No other rust through, on the frame, that I could find.
ELECTRICAL all lights, turn signals, brake lights, dash lights work. Wires replaced on the new fuel level sender to gauge and to ground. The dome light needs replacement.
GAUGES, all gauges function. Speedometer vibrates at low speeds.
BODY, the overall body exterior has several rust spots to be repaired.***
NEUTRAL SWITCH, tested, adjusted and rewired to starter relay.
TURN SIGNAL ASSEMBLY, replaced the cam and the switch in the steering column. Installed a new lever.
HEATER, the original water flow valve was missing. I purchased a new aftermarket valve and installed the valve. The fan controls and buttons all work. The heater control works, with the original cable to the valve ,for throttling the heat.

***There is a lot of original undercoating left under the vehicle. Some of it has peeled off leaving rust where it is off. There are a few areas that had been patched and some areas that need to be addressed. Heat proofing / sound proofing was also sprayed under the hood. I cleaned the surface but it also can be removed or repainted at the new owners discretion.
