Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yesterday I went to do the first 10 hour service (lube) on my tractors loader. Went well until grease squirted out the base of a fitting. Gave another squeeze and the fitting popped off. It wasn't broken and looked like it only ever had two threads into the loaders shoulder. I cleaned everything up, tried screwing it back in by hand, nope. Called Kubota, they are coming out Wednesday, think they'll have to tap the hole (cue Karl). I have a great tap and dye set but I'm not touching that under warranty, if it gets bunged up it would have to be inserted/oversized and I'm not gonna cause that. Tight working space to boot. Even picked up a new zerk from Kubota since I got called into work and they're right next door, no joy.
