I'm not sure. Factory rod bolts worry me, and they are relatively inexpensive these days. However, if you spend the money on pistons and rods, why not just get the entire reciprocating assembly?

You can buy a lot of Magnum short blocks for the price of building a strong stroker motor bottom end. They seem pretty stout from what I've done to some of the stock bottom ends I've spun hard.
