Passion 4 Mopars????

-
Pretty sure I’ve lost mine. I talked to a fello name Bruce Somner at NS1AAR.com. He seemed straight up. Anyone know of him?

Bruce is a great guy. Comes to all the Spring and Fall Flings and local Mopar shows.
His work is out there. He is out there. No hiding from anyone. Mellow guy. Easy to work with.

Not sure what to make of this
Flakey outfit it seems. Is it worth a $275 gamble? One things for sure, if she stiffs you on it that's straight up stealing. You could call the local PD, States Attorney and if you mail her a check, or she mails you back a piece of crap, the USPS I would think. USPS investigators don't play. They got a guy that stole my identity and mail ordered stuff with fraudulent cards in my name. Only way the law ever caught him.

She’s emailed me pics of my original crappy cylinder next to a replated one. Definitely mine. If I pay with credit card attached to PayPal I think I would have some safety?

Absolutely. Make sure to use the buying goods and services not the friends.

AND, I'd be straight-up honest. Tell her your reservations and what you're doing. If she balks then run away.

And if she doesn’t want to pay the extra pay pal fees, just pay them yourself at this point.

Worth it too you at this time in the game.

keep us posted. She claims to be sending mine this week... been saying that for months now

Anyone know who took over the business from Jules? I know someone did, just don't remember who.

Wish I would have seen these posts a year ago. I Sent mine in and then never heard anything back so I called in. Got the, oh yeah, it's here just did not know who's it was. I already had talked to her about it before sending it in. A few months later same stories some got about teeth knocked out. On another call weeks later it was family issues. Then another call it was weather and vendors. I finally did a claim with PP and then all of a sudden it was ready the next week. Hope everyone avoids this vendor as it sounds like it has not got any better since my ordeal.

As one who receives parts in from all over the world, I suggest any time you ship a part out for restoration, be sure to include a note with ALL of your contact info inside the box.

I can't speak for Passion of course but it's impossible to have crystal clear recollection of every phone call or promise that "it's on the way to you tomorrow."

Anyone know what's going on with this company and Kim? She's had my wiper motor since August I talked to her once after her accident and have had no luck since then. Thanks Dan
I paid her a deposit to rebuild my wiper motor after 8 months and ever excuse in the world I lose my deposit and she says she's sending back my parts.after 6 months if having my motor she sends me a pic of a motor not even close to the way mine looks and said the shipping company broke the Finn's then a couple months later says the armature was burned.thebwhike time she said it was being plated beware of her also check her BBB rating and complaints first

Got my motor back. I gave her the benefit of a doubt. It came well packaged, and visually really really nice. Haven’t tested yet. Maybe there’s hope.

After reading this thread and others like it on other forums I decided to go with Topher McGinnis (The Headlight Motor Man) to have my 3-speed motor restored for my A12. I made a wise choice. Very fair price and easy to deal with. From this to this...

this is who I would recommend. He does outstanding work, and has a system in place to get them done in a timely manner.

I used Kim about 10 years ago for two wiper motors....the finished product was good. But, it pissed me because when I called her, we talked about the fact that I had about 10-12 wiper motors (all 3 speed) to choose from. She said they were of value to her and I should send them all, and she would give me credit towards my bill. I did that, and when it came time to settle up she was, "Oh they're not worth anything, I have so many lying around...." So basically I spent my money sending her motors that I got nothing out of, and I don't have the motors either.

I remember back then hearing that she learned her trade working for some guy....whatever the deal was, she screwed him over and went into competition against him and he was pissed over it.

.....and now you know why she's missing teeth I guess. Maybe it wasn't an accident, maybe it was done on purpose?

I always credit card and paypal when dealing with small businesses and random people online. Double protection.

Bought a SBP disc brake setup off of a guy on here who only had a double digit post count (and they were all in the classifieds section) for $350. He gave me a couple excuses for why he hadn't shipped it yet and then just went silent on me. I contacted paypal and they ran a claim. He never responded to it so they refunded me the money. It was pretty easy but it took a couple weeks or so once the claim was filed.

Whatever you do, DO NOT GO THERE. Kim has numerous complaints on BBB, I am one of them. She will take your money and wiper, and will not return anything. I am still fighting with her to get my motor and money back. DO NOT USE!!!

:wtf:

Seriously, the whole "Mom has dementia/Parkinson's/sister had a stroke and her kidneys failed/my shop got wiped out by the hurricane/my dog got effed up sounds either phony or this chick is one serious **** magnet.

Sounds like Fran at Fox Engineering, who shorted me about $1k worth of FI computer on a custom EFI he took years to build - then took it to a show to show off before he sent it to me and I saw pictures of it (maybe here?) before I ever saw it. Stopped returning my emails and wouldn't answer the phone. Wouldn't even man up enough to explain it. P.o.S.

Well, FWIW, I did a reverse phone search and did come up with a last name. Her address is on the web site.

Kim Leger
615 Cypress Ave
Orange City, Fl 32763

Maybe a couple members in the area should stop by.

Danger, Danger, Warning, Warning!!!!
I am also a victim of this company, which still has an active website taking in more "orders".
Same story as all the above..... started in April 2018. Payed $387 thru PP Sept 2018. Begged for my parts back, in whatever condition, for the last year.
NOTE>>>> I called Paypal in May 2021 and complained about this person/companies
continued (for Years) fraud and theft of service. I was moved up to a supervisor who, in order to
mediate my anger at their ongoing support of this company, gave me a $100.00 credit for my
longevity with PayPal (2001). I recommend to anyone that has had a problem with Passion4Mopars to do the same.
I personally believe she is selling our motors to some high end builders, therefore, she can't send the core we send back to us.

I am not done with her.
