- 1" screws, a few 2" screws thru sides into 2x4s
- Packed and shipped 250 miles for $130
- Arrived with trans completely loose, though never secured, with multiple marks
- Arrived second time, crate completely destroyed, trans shift studs damaged, input shaft stuck, trans and shifter mount went thru crate in multiple areas, as well as damage from outside thru crate
- Sent by well known aftermarket Mopar company
The one on the right:
- 1/5 the cost
- Plywood, high grade, all
- Wood is 1x and 2x, one 2x4 removed in pic
- Tailshaft fully supported with 2x4s all the way to the bottom
- 2" screws throughout
- Packed and shipped 990 miles for $200
- Trans is bolted, lock nuts, and strapped with padding
- Padding throughout crate, some removed for pic
- Brought directly to a FedEx hub, goes directly on plane, avoids trucking one way
- Received in 2 days
- Arrived completely intact, undamaged, crate undamaged
