My own stupidity

Idaho has created itself a real mess. They have "split" boat and other RV/ off road registrations instead of DMV, through "Parks and Rec." Unless you are transferring a TITLED boat then you must go to DMV. But you have to go to DMV for the TRAILER, so that's two very irritating trips, one for the (un) titled boat to P&R and the trailer to DMV

Parks and Rec is area POS. They have no system, you just go stand there in line (hard on this old man) and no guarantee you will even get in the door before 4:45

Today I went to the DMV to get the trailer transferred, already did the boat, only to find that, "no, Parks and Rec does not charge you sales tax. WE have to charge you sales tax." You have to make an appointment, and they were running WAY behind. I FINALLY WENT HOME and got a folding chair WHICH I SHOULD HAVE DONE the first time around.

ANYway, I thought I'd go for a ride in the 16ft Crestliner. Got to this ramp, got all prepped, boat unstrapped, lines tied on, pretty much ready to go down the ramp, and turns out the battery disconnect was "on." I could'ha swore.............Turns out the little courtesy lamp in the rear was on.............DEAD BATTERY

So I got to trailer the thing clear back home and CHANGE THE BATTERY
