Me and the boy went on a little excircise trip today
With everything being canceled during the scamdemic, he's put on a few pounds, and I know his dad was a real poroer at his age, so off we went

Rode our bikes to the park (3 mile round trip) and did one loop at the park
The loop takes about half an hour, but includes 455 stair steps (luckily, over half of those go down)

The idea is to expand on this little by little and do it about every other day

You got to be really careful, because the loop at the park starts with the stairs, but it circles around, almost like a snail shell
So if you don't pay attention you end up walking the same loop several times

That's so much like "The Cup and Saucer Trail" on Manitoulin Island Ontario. Only this trail doesn't have many stairs to climb but they sure do have a lot of rock to climb. Diane and I were 65 when we first did it with my son's family and we did really well. Did it again two years later wasn't so easy. But the view at the top was fantastic and worth the effort. Some areas are very slippery and you have to hold onto ropes so you don't slip and get hurt.
