That's so much like "The Cup and Saucer Trail" on Manitoulin Island Ontario. Only this trail doesn't have many stairs to climb but they sure do have a lot of rock to climb. Diane and I were 65 when we first did it with my son's family and we did really well. Did it again two years later wasn't so easy. But the view at the top was fantastic and worth the effort. Some areas are very slippery and you have to hold onto ropes so you don't slip and get hurt.

there was no need for ropes here (im guessing that wherever you would have ropes, they put in stairs)

there are a few sections where you can get high enough to actually get a great view of the lake

there are also some really nice biking trails we used to go on, i should take him back there once he gets a little in shape
