Which one flows better, factory 6 blade water pump or 8 blade
From the 1973 FSM. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the actual diameters. They may be in this book but I don’t have it right in front of me now.
Water pump speed (as you can see) is important. The A/C cars AND when maximum cooling was called for were all overdriven.
I use an 8 blade Milodon water pump and overdrive the pump. If you don’t, at idle you’ve not only slowed down the pump you’ve slowed down the fan.
