I called Hagerty just before Carlisle this year due to another post on this topic. As I suspected due to what I have learned by being insured with them going on 20 years, I was told if I drove there my car would be covered. It would Also be covered in the hotel parking lot, at a restaurant etc. The main thing is that it’s normally in a locked secured garage.
Other companies have said no to driving anywhere but to and from a show. I very rarely drive anywhere besides shows but if I do I don’t want to be without insurance. Maybe it costs a little more but at least I know I’m covered.
