Correct Oil Pan Identification for '65 273 in Valiant/Barracuda?
How do I identify the correct oil pan for my '65 Formula S and '65 Signet convertible? I notice some oil pans have factory 3 digit numbers on the sump. Do all factory Mopar oil sumps have a number like that? I have a couple of "394" oil pans here in storage. I know from experience the steering link bangs into some oil pans at full turns on the 1965 models. What we need to answer the question once and for all is to find someone with both a "394" pan and a factory original '65 273 oil pan for direct comparison. Thank you.
