I searched the forums and came up with nothing.

Three questions--I need a new radiator for my stock 1975 Duster with a 225. It doesn't seem like anyone makes one for the slant 6, and those who apparently used to, do not anymore.

Have I missed a source? Does anyone know where I can simply buy a new radiator?

Secondly, there is a decent used one for sale nearby, but it is for a 1972 Duster. Does anyone know if this will fit and work without major modifications? From what I can tell, it is 2 inches shorter.

Third, I would assume a radiator from a V-8 car would fit, the support, but does anyone know of retrofit hoses that would allow it to plumb to the waterpump and thermostat housing correctly?

Thanks everyone! Here's what I need it for:

Cool original looking Duster! You should be able to get a replacement radiator locally. Does it have a fan shroud or just a fan?

Also, give us the core width and height with inlet outlet positions and maybe one of us can recommend something that will fit.

great looking car  pics and or the part# in the top of yours would help. sounds like you have a 22" and the other is a 19", but with out the other info no way to tell

Thanks for the replies! Part number 2998933. There's another number: Pentastar 20446. No shroud. Standard slant 6 inlet/outlet positions on the passenger side. I think the radiator is original to the car, however, the more I learn about the car working on it, there sure a lot of stuff that is not original and the 2998933 part number dates to 1970, although I would imagine it could have been used multiple years.

Radiator core is 19" wide and 17' high. Total height is 22". Mounting bolt holes are 24" across and 15" from top to bottom.

Again thanks for the reply...the shorter refers to the height, not the width.

i don't have a 75' parts book saved but i would say any 19" with the hose connections in the right place would be fine. a 22" would fit too but you might need to add a couple holes to mount it.
if you're buying a used one take it to a local radiator shop and have them test it

Great looking car! Layson's said they could get me a brass one for my '64 \6 for only $750...

I have seem to have found one at www.radiatorexpress.com. It is ordered, now let's see if it comes.

After doing a little research, it is certainly the one in the car is not the original due to the lack of EGR fittings.

This is not a wanted thread. @Juanito, if you are looking for a used radiator, please start a wanted thread.

I finally did receive it about a week ago. Horrible communication with the business, but it did come.

Very thin core, but it unquestionably is made for the application.
