Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning.
Cool outside this morning.
A few oil changes today,my truck, buddys pickup and his neices car and his wifes car. Forgot i have to deal with the used oil, my oil drain is full, plus the drum. So i hope i can drop it off today. And pick up an empty.

Having a few problems with my roofing salesman. When we discover more work that needs to be done he isn't offering to help. I thought he was the General Contractor not me. Find someone to fix the problem or tell me why they can't so I can. The chimney needs repairs and now is the time to do it while there is no roof on one side. Same with rotted fascia boards that are nailed into the roof deck. You cover it up with new roof and the boards can't be replaced without taking the roof apart. I think I need to get upper management involved.

Your wife?
The salesman isnt doing his job.
And, at this level i would think they would want to do a quality job. Fascia, should have been in the quote, chimney? I think you might have to contact someone for that. Roof company wont want the responsibility for chimney repair.

The fascia and covering the fly rafters was in the contract but I put the brakes on that when they wanted to cover it with coiled metal but not repair the rot before hand.

Those are cool but really not! LOL

Morning mob, not quite 50 degrees F here this morning. Busy week coming up. Doing some private lessons for pistol on Monday. Providing RSO services for a shotgun event for Browning on Tuesday, flying to a pistol match on Wed, doing live fire video with students on Thursday, instructors seminar Fri and Sat, testing out for first aid, CPR and AED on Sunday. Other than that not much going up here!

On order again! He has 12 cases left last time I checked. Good caps.
I don't need any more but the hoarder in me says I do. LOL A cap has lasted me 15+ years so far with a occasional cleaning. My last set of dual points have been in 5+ years and they were pretty poor quality (Echlin) and I installed them in the car. A old fat man with bifocals get's the job done but it ain't pretty. LOL

And when do you work...:poke:

My week, I bought a 67 grill and surrounds last night. Need to get that finalized and shipped to John. He restores them and then its sold. Bought a really nice set of 67 hood inserts. I'll put the paint to them and sell them or keep'em not sure yet. Need to go to storage where the trailer is stored and pull the parts to go to John's Thursday. Have a couple packages I'm tracking on their way in. A guy gets a 67 vert parts car this week and I get first look at it before he posts it. Load up the truck and pull out O'dark thirty for a straight drive to Maryland, spend a couple days, and straight drive back. A fun MOPAR week.

Mike, The DP stuff is really drying up if you want anything I would look for it now when the prices are still high, but decent if you look around. Condensers are really getting hard to find and forget about vac advances, I just get them rebuilt works out about the same as a nos that you have no idea if it works or not. I have to many of the electronic ones right now might sell them the roadrunner/cuda guys want them for the 100 point cars. I screwed up about a year ago on the carb solenoids, could have had a ton of them for $80 each, was just to much at the time.

Thanks for the info Hoppy. I have a few old stock strap condensers. Yes, hard to come by and the new/import ones are junk. I helped fix a FABO members rough running car by suggesting a condenser.

I am basically hoarding them for use now. I used to find them around $5 each now lucky to get them for 12-20
