shots from the garage...

Well I was “punked”.... was going to take a couple nights off, but out into the 100+ degree garage where I found #8 header tube had loosened, fried out the remflex gasket. I don’t think I noted anything on the pass as I pulled N and shut it off early (took the win). It wasn’t until I was on the return road and went to fire the car up when I was met with what seemed to be an UGLY noise! It was between rounds, close to 3am, we loaded her up.... didn’t even pull the hood. I did discover the water manifold is leaking so I’ll have to address that. Not sure where we’re going next....

On the slow deal.... for the past year I’ve been running our other engine Bracket Betty. Iron head 360 that’s as basic as you can get. Runs high 10’s and you throw fuel in it and go! Hardly ever have to take the hood off. I can definitely appreciate a good reliable easy to find parts for combo.
