Hey FABO!
I know this isnt a mopar question, so I hope Im placing it in the correct tab. I have a 93 Chebby S10 with a 2.8 V6...stick. Im looking to do a nod to the hotrodding history and put a Caddie engine in it. (nod being it was not unheard of to put a caddie engine as you could get 500 ci) BUT.....just not any caddie engine. From 2013 to 2019 (I think) Cadillac made a 3.6 twin turbo motor for their ATS-V. Some of which came with a stick. If you were me (be thankful you are not) where besides COPARTS and CL would you look? They seem to be somewhat of hens teeth. AND....have you heard or seen anyone do this swap??? They put out 464 HP, use titanium rods and forged pistons while maintaining a small lightweight package. This little mini truck would rip proper!!

Your 0.02 is welcome.

First place I would try would be LKQ.

Those are good ones and on my watchlist (coparts) but i think i should get one with a stick vs change it over to stick. So the goal is that it would have a lot more body damage and a stick. Those are good though. The black one ends tomorrow morning......

When I saw the title, the first thing I thought of is my spare 68 472.

:steering::usflag:

I thought that and 500. It could be done....and I am sure has been. There's a company that specializes in parts to put the 472/500 into the late 70s/early 80s small boxy Malibus. That would be a lot of fun.

Northstars are a LOT easier to find.

I don't think many, if any of the Cadillac engines came with stick shift transmissions. You may have to get a machinist to bore the end of the crankshaft for a pilot bushing/bearing.

As another option, a lot of Caddy Escapades came with the aluminum 6.2 LS motors. Lot of HP for a small truck, and plenty of bolt it in kits available.

ATS/V was a portly little SOB, 4500 lbs! That motor in a 3100 lb A would tear it up!
