@rumblefish360 You know what? You might be on to something. You asked what I was currently wrenching on, I bet if I had a channel, I could title this "The worlds crustiest hemi rebuild" document the process and it would probably be fun....just look at this mess....

Ive tried a few vids, it takes time. say you want to work on your car ,some project like aligning door panels, fenders etc. Untill you film it step by step, youve added consideraable time, then you have to edit and produce the vid. it is a great way to document the restoration though.

That’s why I don’t do very many videos. It’s a PITA to actually video something while trying to do it, explain what you are doing it and why. Especially when you work alone.

Then you have to edit all that crap and blah blah blah. Way too much time for me to bother. I’ve done some 3-5 minutes videos but that’s about my limit.

WHOA! Well, it say what the hell! Why not. Take your time with it. The title is worth clicking on by anyone that sees it.

I’ll possibly get busy on my in a few months.

There is a good bit of fire thought in doing a video. Editing skills can be rudimentary.
But the part where you have to explain everything, yeah, that could be a pain in the ***! In the end, you have to kind of, well, want to do this just a little bit.

Yep it is a challenge trying to get the camera setup in the right spot so they can see and hear what's going on andt then the editing and everything just to try and help people then you have 99 percent of of the people leaving comments why didnt you do this or that or that's wrong or I'm glad that's not my car. People are just so damn negative all the time

11 months buddy! No more railroad cars to play with.
Is not the job, not the people, but just getting tired and the money amount is right to take off for a new saying when I go to sleep.... Tomorrow is Saturday..... in fact, “Everyday is Saturday!” when I go into the “Permanent vacation!”

@AJ/FormS

Ditto! Love AJ but I can’t read that dang much. My eyes start jumping ether re reading the same sentence over and over again or skipping 1 or 2. Then I’m trying to figure out WTF IS HE SAYING?!?!?!

Always good info delivered right up until the eyes start bleeding. I often bust AJ’s balls telling him to nutshell it some more. He gets upset and counters with “Its Good and pertinent pertinent info they will need to make a better decision.” And I agree, but it could be said a whole lot shorter. I really don’t need all the math spelled out.
Congratulations buddy on the upcoming retirement!

LOL.... I've done more one-handed wrenching since I started youtube.... LOL and yes, I get request on what part they wish for me to work on next. The cost of the project, the extra time to film, then edit, then upload, it's more work than some think. Personally, I love it but I only do projects I want to do.

So....a year and a half later, has the "bottle rocket" ran its 10 second quarter mile yet?

A shop full of cars that sit.....GREAT business model, Tony.

His original claims were that the pos was going to run tens, at least he didn't say for less than 5k.
Running tens on a 5k budget is for tv shows, the fanboys & sponsors give them **** for next to nothing, like the deals they get on running engines not realistic for the rest of us.

I watched a video from last July after the motor had put a pushrod through a rocker arm.
He was whining how the hyd roller lifters would bleed down after shutting the motor off........ like it was a revelation of some sort.
He was positive this was the cause of the rocker failure.

That has been a fairly constant problem amongst several different brands of lifters...... for years.
It isn’t “news”.
You’d think that someone whose been in the auto industry as long as he has, and is offering advice on using these type of parts....... that he’d be aware of that being a relatively common occurrence when using retrofit HR lifters.

I’m not giving a pass to the lifters, I’m just saying it’s not a rare thing to have happen.
There are several videos highlighting that very thing(HR lifters bleeding down) on his preferred medium(YouTube).

Has it been back to the track since last July?

Ime hyd roller lifters... Pressure's over 120 lbs seat and the lifters all pop 'bleed down' upon shut off.
Stock or not.
Magnum truck 5.9, 130-135 seat 255/260lbs open, all pop after shutdown.
Stock hyd roller spring pressure is weak for most pushrod v8's. Imo It's only reason they dont all pop upon shutdown. Stock mags are 90/195lbs....
Tony is too quick to blame the wrong thing.. and too arrogant to question himself.
Is he capable of trying little by little...or is it all "just right" with every change/idea he makes/has.

I am beginning to believe UT is a little delusional. He's explanation about his slow shift to second is way out there, not to mention his explanation of the poor throttle response. I never had any of those problems to begin with when using slicks, a 4.56 rear end, full synchro Mopar four-speed, and 600 CFM Holley double pumper.
Full of **** is more accurate...:)
