The 4 bbl throttle stud is about 1" - 1 1/2" farther forward than the 2 bbl linkage...

I've compared the 67 and later throttle cable brackets from 2 bbl to 4 bbl and been able to just lengthen a 2 bbl slotted kick down linkage to fit and work properly on a 4 bbl....

So it would make sense that the 4 bbl bracket lever is about 1" - 1 1/2" forward compared to the 2 bbl....
In '65 and '66 they just changed the very front threaded-on section of the rod to a longer one between 2 a 4bbl. Near as I can tell. That's the part that snaps onto the ball on the carb lever. The actual rod that goes forward from the bell crank is the same length on everything that I've seen so far.
