Left overs here too. Had a typical rust bolt Ford day. Had to weld 5/8 nuts to the silly torx bolts on the box bolts. Usually I chisel the heads off and drive the rest out with a BFH but I didn't want to completely remove the box. I did snap one but no big deal. I had to order rocker panels too. The inner's are junk too. Had to go to Murdock's for some welding wire. Best part of the day was that my favorite deli wasn't packed with people so I whipped in there and got me a foot long sandwich so I'm set for lunch tomorrow too. Hopefully those rockers show up sooner than they suggest. My freight has been great so far.
I here ya on taking the box off a Ford mostly with rust. I don't know how many torx bits I wasted trying to get the bolts out.
On the old Chevy's we would leave the inner rockers out and just replace the outer's so they couldn't hold moisture again, never tried it on a Ford.
